  • All the engines are synchronized with TNEB grid.

  • Gas Engines capacity – 7 X 240 KWe.

Notes

Successful Ventures:

  • One single gasifier system being utilised for 3 fosil fuel like LPG, diesel & FO.
  • Thermic fluid boiler was operated in 100% PG.
  • Fluidised bed dryer was operated in 100% PG.
  • Producer gas to use for cooking with full safety aspects.
  • Running very successfully with power synchronization mode for captive usage as well as gird linking project.
  • Ability to provide training for operation & maintenance priors. To commissioning of the new plant.
  • Completion of thermal project in 4 months & power projects in 6 months.
  • Experience in executing thermal Gasifier plants for different applications like Biscuit baking, Cooking, Heating and Melting applications very successfully.

Benefits:

  • Conversion of coconut shell into activated corban as a bi product.
  • Conversion of wood into corban as a by product.

Cost Benefits:

Cost of Power / Unit:

1.1 kg of Biomass = 1 KWH
Cost of 1 KWH of power generated is about Rs. 5.50
(Considering Rs.4,000/- MT of biomass and additional operation & maintenance cost).

Cost of Fuel Replacement / Liter of Fossil Fuel:

4 Kg of biomass = 1Kg of LPG or any other fossil fuel.
Cost of replacing 1 Kg if LPG or any other fossil fuel is about Rs.18.00 (Considering Rs 4,000/- MT of biomass and additional operation & maintenance cost).
Minimum Savings of 50% can be achieved for any fossil fuel.
